 Polar Express - December 2008
Kai takes his first train ride on the Polar Express on a cold Saturday night. He enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies while he rode to the North Pole and met Santa!

 Snowstorm - December 2008
Snow falls heavily in the Durango area. Tod high-centers his Suby at the end of the driveway (no pics...sorry), and we enjoy time around the place with family.

Bryce and Sara joined us at the cabin in Telluride to enjoy the perfect weekend of fall colors. We ventured to Woods Lake, Ophir, and the town of Telluride.

 Furnished Durango Home - September, 2008
This certainly took us long enough, but we have taken some pictures of our home furnished so that you can see where we actually live. The order of pictures is as if you came inside the house from the front door and look at rooms as you saw them in a clockwise fashion. Then we take you upstairs to the master bedroom and bath before ending downstairs with the guest suite.

 San Juan Mountain Roadtrip - July 26-27, 2008
Free of the burdens of settling into the new house, we take off for a drive to Telluride via Bolas Pass (almost too much for the Subaru), around the San Juans, and back over Red Mountain and Molas Passes.

 La Plata Mts Hike- July 25, 2008
Grandma Carolyn visits and watches the little Kai so Jen and Tod could check out the local area and hike with Sam & River. We hiked to the saddle between Centennial Peak and Sharkfin Peak outside of Mancos, CO.

The family arrives in Durango, Colorado after wonderful stay with Hattie in Tacoma and visit with Jesse, Michelle, Larry, and Carolyn in Portland, OR. The following pictures are of the house before the moving truck arrived and chaos insued.
